Whale Rescue is a volunteer organisation, run by volunteers. There are lots of different ways that you can help us to continue rescuing whales and dolphins.
Working closely with the Department of Conservation in Northland, Whale Rescue Co-Founders Ingrid & Floppy, identified the immediate needs to enable the successful rescue of multiple whales at a mass stranding.
Fund raising has allowed them to purchase some of the necessary tools required to facilitate rescues. But there is still a dire need for more rescue equipment and an emergency fund to enable the Whale Rescue Crew to deploy to a stranding site as soon as possible.
Whale Rescue definately needs your help to save whales. Consider this; you can help with as little as $2, which buys a bucket that helps keeps a whale cool during a rescue. If you would like to do more, please see our section on "How You Can Help".
